Process Engineering

Amtec is seeking a Process Engineer to work for a manufacturing company located in Anaheim, CA. We are looking for someone with a Lean background within a Manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a lot of drive, won't be afraid to ask questions and will not be afraid to be "hands on" and get dirty! We will consider someone with less than 3 years of experience who wants to learn and advance within his/her career. My client has no problem "grooming" the right person!

Requirements

BS in engineering; 3+ years in an extrusion manufacturing environment; Proven track record in manufacturing process troubleshooting and improvement; Familiarity with quality assurance procedures and general statistics; Proven track record in implementing and instructing personnel in the use of SPC tools to control, validate and improve processes; Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Self starter with the flexibility to work in multiple roles in a team environment; MS Office literate

Nice to have

Tooling Design experience; Strong organizational and management skills; Experience in managing technicians and engineers; Experience in using tools such as Six Sigma, DOE and PFMEA
