Processing Machine Operator 1st Shift

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday from 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (Hours may vary). The role of the Production Worker is to perform necessary functions in order to efficiently, safely, and correctly prepare and process raw material to prepare it for cooking or cut & package finished product in preparation for shipment to customer.

Responsibilities

Perform necessary functions to prepare and process raw material for cooking or cut & package finished product for shipment; Follow daily production schedule and achieve specified goals; Ensure product conforms to specifications; Prevent and minimize rework and/or inedible; May require working on taping machines, shrink wrap machines, pallet jacks, trash and recycling compactors; Perform standard operating procedures of production and inspection functions; Add ingredients to batch and verify against formulations in blending system; Move meat into machines/combos/v-mags using appropriate tools; Load meat racks and push meat trucks, visually monitoring meat for quality; Maintain accurate records and wash/sanitize carts, racks, trucks; Follow GMPs, HACCP, company prerequisite programs, SOPs, and SSOPs; Maintain safe, clean, organized work area; Report accidents and deficiencies to lead/foreman/supervisor
