Product Designer

At Shakers, we're on the lookout for a Product Designer to take our Product team to the next level. We're looking for a Product Designer who moves comfortably between analysis and execution, someone who turns insights into decisions, has real ownership, and is curious about AI (and knows when it adds value and when it doesn't). This role offers the opportunity to maintain and improve the Design System, run user tests, talk directly to our users, and co-create with the team.

Responsibilities

Designing experiences in Figma for clients and freelancers across desktop, mobile, and tablet; running user tests with real users; co-creating with the Product Trio (PM, Designer, Dev); maintaining and improving the Design System; preparing structured developer handoffs and supporting adoption; working with AI tools like Claude in the design workflow; rotating across squads and adapting to changing contexts

Requirements

Experience in product design; communication & storytelling skills; thrives in a dynamic startup environment; able to move between analysis and execution; real ownership; curious about AI; experience in fast-changing environments; collaboration with PMs, devs, and data folks; real product design skills covering UI, UX, and strategic thinking; prototyping and user testing; critical thinking and own criteria; combines analysis and execution; real autonomy and resolutiveness; team mentality; comfortable talking to users; curiosity for new tech; comfortable working in Spanish and English contexts; based in Valencia or Madrid or willing to travel between hubs

Nice to have

Responsive layouts experience; experience in marketplaces or multi-sided products; comfort in changing contexts and 360º vision; comfort expressing yourself in Spanish and English; interest in tools like Amplitude or Clarity; attention to microinteractions; experience at recognized startups; familiarity with Series A startups
