Responsibilities

Engineer new product designs including application of GD&T; Create manufacturing process including equipment, tools, and fixtures; Lead product innovation projects from concept through specified Gate Reviews; Complete product feasibility reviews; Process Engineering Change Requests and supporting documentation; Direct CAD resources for product and tooling design work; Create and document engineering guidelines and lessons learned; Create APQP documentation including Process Flows, FMEAs, etc.; Oversee build events prior to PPAP to validate product design, manufacturing process, fixtures, tools, and equipment; Review customer technical specifications to ensure compliance; Interpret and utilize statistical methods to improve products and processes

Requirements

Knowledge of APQP and related documentation; Knowledge of product design and ability to interpret and apply GD&T; Knowledge of manufacturing processes, assembly fixtures, and equipment; Knowledge of standard shop processes; Knowledge of ISO/TS
