Product Manager - Data and Analytics

Full-time Hybrid work

Publication date: 01/11/2026

Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. As Product Manager for Data and Analytics on Mystra, you'll be the bridge between ambition and execution, turning approved strategic initiatives into clear, scoped, buildable epics and features that engineers can run with and scientists can trust. You'll own the move from discovery to delivery, set out the why and the what, and stay close as the person the delivery team turns to when priorities collide. Because Mystra is a scientific data platform, "done" means scientifically valid, technically sound, and tested against the criteria that matter to expert users.

Responsibilities

Breaking down strategic initiatives into 2-4 well-scoped epics and features, with the reasoning behind every boundary written down; Pulling together user workflows, personas, edge cases, and constraints into a living "context document" for the delivery team; Working with Scientific SMEs to make sure requirements are scientifically sound, and with Data Services to understand ingestion capabilities and architectural constraints; Partnering with Engineering, Design, and User Research to check that requests are feasible, coherent, and grounded in real customer need; Running delivery kick-offs and bi-weekly check-ins, answering questions quickly, and making clear, well-reasoned prioritisation calls; Spotting recurring ambiguities and feeding them back to the Director of Product Management

Requirements

Fluency with genomic data (ability to read a GWAS paper, interpret p-values, consider effect sizes and population diversity, and recognise the data and analytics needs of a statistical geneticist); Experience in product management or product ownership; Writing strong requirements, working across functions, and weighing trade-offs; Ability to define features with clear "done" criteria and leave story-level detail to the delivery team; Decisiveness and an execution mindset; Clear, direct communication, written and spoken, with engineers, scientists, designers, and product leadership

Benefits

Competitive reward with salaries externally benchmarked annually; Clear career path with an open progression framework; Continuous learning including external courses and a wide library of L&D materials; 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, plus an extra 3-day company-wide shutdown at year-end; Market-leading pension scheme; Comprehensive private health insurance for you and your family with no excess; Critical illness and life assurance; Enhanced paid family leave for all new parents; Hybrid working; 'Bank Your Bank Holiday' programme to exchange public holidays for personally or culturally significant dates; Social events, Town Halls, team picnics and sports events; Cycle-to-Work scheme and offices near major transport hubs
