Production Jr. Controller

Our award winning entertainment production client is looking for a Junior Controller to join their tight-knit, entrepreneurial team. This role is a newly created position that will oversee 3-4 different sets of books. The Controller will have a great deal of freedom to create and design his/her own systems and processes. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of a department in a small company environment.

Responsibilities

Establish new accounting and internal control processes; Prepare financial statements; Liaise with CPA for tax filings; Liaise with outside vendors; Provide needed reporting to the outsourced CFO

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; 4+ years of accounting experience; Production accounting background preferred; Exposure to cost accounting; Proficiency in Quickbooks
