Production Operative

Join our team at DS Smith Wirral and play a key role in delivering high-quality production! We're looking for a motivated Production Operative to support our manufacturing operations. You'll help ensure smooth production processes, maintain safety standards, and achieve performance targets.

Responsibilities

Take responsibility for your own and others' health & safety, following SSOW (Safe System of Work) and company procedures; Immediately report any unsafe acts or incidents to management; Meet productivity and quality targets consistently; Carry out daily warehouse and production activities; During holidays and busy periods assist in loading and unloading vehicles, feeding machinery with material whilst liaising with the office

Requirements

Safety First mindset; Self-Motivated, positive, and enthusiastic; Strong Communications Skills (Verbal and written); Team player with a quality-focused approach; Flexible and open to multi-skilled working and constructive challenge

Nice to have

Background in corrugated board manufacturing (ideal but not essential); Previous experience in production machine and FLT operations; Basic Maths skills for inventory tasks; Counterbalance licence
