Production Trainee - PM Shift

The Production Trainee is responsible for carrying out all routine operations and operating equipment within the plant.

Responsibilities

Safely operate all production machinery including forklifts, pallet jacks, hoses, etc.; Manually handle cased goods around manufacturing area; Follow all safety rules and requirements and GMP guidelines; Weigh and prepare raw materials for processing; Provide coverage for line operators during assigned rest periods; Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area; Work with fellow operators as a team to achieve safety, quality, and production goals; Assist maintenance with troubleshooting equipment problems; Perform general housekeeping and plant clean up as needed; Responsible for accurately documenting production activities and submitting required paperwork; Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required; This position has responsibilities related to Food Safety and Quality; Uphold and participate in all Corporate Responsibility programming including recycling, social advocacy and MMAD volunteering opportunities; Invest in and is an example of Milo's Responsibility commitment which includes environmental, social, and corporate governance components; Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Required to use hands to handle, reach with hands and arms; Required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel for much of assigned shift; Must have the ability to stay at work station and area for three continuous hours; Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; Comfortable being exposed to moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, occasionally exposed to extreme cold
