Production Worker - 1st Shift

The Production Worker is focused on handling glass pieces and rotating them through various phases of cutting, tempering, and laminating processes. This includes on/off-loading from tables, rolling racks, or wooden crates and reports to the Production Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual with a strong attention to detail particularly in areas of safety, quality, and efficiency, strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities

Handling glass pieces and rotating them through various phases of cutting, tempering, and laminating processes; On/off-loading glass product from tables, rolling racks and wood crates for 10 or more hours; Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure; Transport of materials including glass from one position/location to another to expedite the production process; Quality inspection, operating equipment, and/or manually maneuvering equipment; Perform different job functions on a rotating basis across different departments

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age; Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures; Ability to read, understand and communicate; Available to work overtime when required; Regular and predictable attendance; Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements while effectively using a tape measure
