Professional Handyman

We’re looking for highly-skilled Jack of all trades who can “do it all” while taking excellent care of our customers. As a Handyman Professional, you’ll complete small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects, communicate with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs, and deliver a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers.

Responsibilities

Completing small to medium maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Communicating with customers to help them understand what they need to have done and manage expectations about the scope of work and costs; Delivering a great experience that wows life-long repeat customers by following the Mr. Handyman Way; Speaking with customers and providing excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 10+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Self-manage as you will be alone often; Speak with customers and provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have the necessary tools, including the ability to use technology; Wear proper PPE as well as booties to protect customer’s home

Nice to have

Sales background is a plus; Experience with other home repair and maintenance projects such as carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and drywall
