Programme Assistant - Oxford Crescent

As a Programme Assistant , you’ll be the friendly face that makes the afternoons unforgettable for children. You’ll be working a minimum of 10 hours per week , rostered across Monday to Friday

Responsibilities

Afternoon/ After School shifts runs between 2.30pm–6.00pm. Availability from 2.30pm is essential , though finish times may vary.; Potential school holiday programmes hours available (between 7am - 6pm).; Supervising and supporting Tamariki in a range of fun, safe activities; Keeping our spaces tidy, clean, and welcoming for children; Helping your Programme Manager run smooth, energetic sessions that keep kids buzzing; Spotting any hiccups (behaviour, wellbeing, safety) and sharing with your manager so everyone stays supported

Requirements

Have the right to work in New Zealand (valid visa or citizenship); Can get to Newlands site(s) with reliable transportation and/or a vehicle; Are enthusiastic about working with kids – from babysitting to coaching to volunteering, any experience counts!; Are reliable, energetic, and keen to make every session special
