Responsibilities

Supports moderately complex project(s), working under general supervision.; Prepares various financial reports and provides analysis and recommendations based on findings.; Requires a proven ability to apply professional concepts in a productive, consistent manner. Maintains records according to generally accepted accounting practices.; Performs audits and generates special financial reports.; Providing project accounting support across moderately complex projects.; Preparing accurate and timely financial reports, analyses and forecasts.; Reviewing financial results and providing clear recommendations based on identified trends and findings.; Partnering with project managers and operational stakeholders to support effective financial and commercial decision-making.; Maintaining complete and accurate financial records in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and internal requirements.; Monitoring project financial performance and identifying potential risks, issues and opportunities.; Performing financial audits and reviews to support compliance, accuracy and effective financial control.; Preparing ad hoc and specialist financial reports to meet business requirements.; Applying professional accounting principles and concepts in a consistent, practical and effective manner.; Identifying and delivering process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency and service quality.; Collaborating extensively with operational teams and colleagues across an international, matrixed organisation.

Requirements

4-5 years experience of project accounting desirable, preferably in a multinational; Demonstrable experience operating in a complex, fast paced, international business environment.; Fluent in English + another language; Strong analytical & problem solving skills essential; Ability to manage details but also understand the “big picture”.; Excellent written and verbal communication skills.; Identifies and executes initiatives and continuous improvements.; Extensive operations interface and collaboration; Business/Accounting/Engineering Bachelors Degree.
