Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its established project management team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with strong commercial fit-out experience to deliver high-quality workplace and office projects for major occupiers, landlords, and corporate clients. The Project Manager will take responsibility for commercial fit-out projects from inception through to completion, working closely with clients, designers, consultants, and contractors.

Responsibilities

Lead commercial fit-out projects through feasibility, design development, procurement, construction, handover, and close-out; Manage programmes, budgets, consultant teams, procurement strategies, risk registers, project reporting, and stakeholder communication; Chair project meetings, coordinate design information, monitor contractor performance, and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the required quality; Support client presentations, prepare progress reports, manage change control, and provide clear advice throughout the project lifecycle; Support larger and more complex commissions alongside senior colleagues depending on experience

Requirements

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy; Strong commercial office fit-out experience; Experience delivering projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages; A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a related discipline; MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or progress towards a relevant professional qualification; Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and fit-out procurement; Experience managing consultants, contractors, and client stakeholders; Excellent communication, organisation, and reporting skills; A proactive, professional, and commercially aware approach
