Project Manager Construction Consultancy

A growing construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager to join its successful team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who can deliver smaller projects independently while supporting Directors on larger commercial and hotel developments. The Project Manager will work across a portfolio that is approximately 75% commercial, with the remaining projects focused mainly on hospitality projects. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who is comfortable taking ownership of projects, managing clients, and supporting senior colleagues on more complex commissions. The successful Project Manager will also benefit from strong chartership support and a proven record of helping project management professionals achieve MRICS.

Responsibilities

Lead smaller commercial and hotel projects while helping Directors deliver larger and more complex schemes; Manage programmes, consultants, procurement, reporting, risks, meetings, contract administration, and contractor performance from inception through to completion; Act as key client contact, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, monitor project progress, and maintain clear reporting throughout delivery; Support larger projects by taking ownership of defined workstreams and helping senior colleagues maintain programme, cost, quality, and stakeholder expectations

Requirements

Prior project management experience within a construction consultancy; Strong commercial project experience; The ability to deliver smaller projects with limited assistance; Experience supporting senior colleagues on larger projects; A relevant construction-related degree; MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or a genuine desire to achieve chartership; Good knowledge of JCT contracts; Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills; A proactive, organised, and commercially aware approach
