Psychologist Consultant

We’re currently on the lookout for a Rehabilitation Counsellor or Psychologist to deliver workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation solutions. Achieve real outcomes and long-lasting impact as you enable individuals and organisations to achieve sustainable return to work goals.

Responsibilities

Use your specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment; Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle; Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness; Support clients to identify future employment or training options; Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments; Support clients with a disability maintain employment; Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goals; Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships

Requirements

The care and compassion you have for people; Your focus on exceptional client care; Your ability to adapt and work with a variety of clients across a range of tasks; Your capacity to work independently or as part of a team; Your enthusiasm for new opportunities and ongoing learning; Your commitment to being part of a collaborative and supportive team; Professional registration with AHPRA, ASORC or AASW; Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology (Provisional is fine) or Social Work; A current Working with Children Check; Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
