QC Technician

2K Polymer Systems (UK) is a leading manufacturer of high performance, two component polymer products for anchoring, bonding, and repair applications. Responsible for QC Laboratory Area / Processes and Procedures to ensure product quality/conformity are maintained and recorded. Shift pattern: Mornings / Afters (When required) – 37 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Responsible for QC Laboratory Area / Processes and Procedures to ensure product quality/conformity are maintained and recorded; All non-conforming products are to be reported and controlled; Perform laboratory testing promptly and with due diligence in accordance with the Laboratory Training Guides and the priorities of the work schedule; Ensure necessary product certification is created for the sales department; Pass details of any non-conforming product to the Quality Supervisor to aid investigations and further actions; Assist the Quality Supervisor with investigations as and when circumstances dictate; Ensure all measuring equipment is fit for use and is within calibration; Strictly adhere to all company policies for Health and Safety, Quality, and the environment; Maintain laboratory records, equipment and the laboratory facility, including general tidying and cleaning; Carry out unplanned tasks in accordance with the company’s Quality Management System and as directed by the Quality Supervisor

Requirements

Minimum 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) including Maths & English

Nice to have

Previous experience working in a laboratory setting is preferred but not essential.
