QTS PE Teacher

Qualified PE Teacher. Location - Croydon, London. Contract - Full-time, Temp to perm contract. Start Date - September. Salary - £168.80 - £230.45 (MPS + UPS). Are you a dedicated and energetic PE Teacher with experience supporting learners with additional needs? Our client, a reputable Academy-SEND educational provider, is seeking a qualified PE Teacher to join their team on a temporary basis, with the potential for a permanent role.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver inclusive, engaging PE lessons tailored to individual needs; Adapt physical activities to ensure accessibility and participation for all pupils; Promote teamwork, confidence, and physical well-being; Support pupils’ social and emotional development through structured physical activity; Work collaboratively with staff to support pupil progress and behaviour; Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment

Requirements

Hold QTS or QTLS certification; Experience delivering Physical Education across a range of abilities; Passionate about promoting physical activity, well-being, and inclusion; Strong behaviour management and engagement skills; Excellent communication and team-working abilities; Commitment to high standards of care and educational development

Nice to have

Demonstrable experience supporting learners with ASD/ASC or additional needs
