Quality Control Inspector - Day Shift - Friday to Sunday (6am - 6pm)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our weekend day shift team and support incoming inspection of molded and purchased parts. In this role, you’ll ensure components meet engineering and quality standards through precise inspection and documentation. You’ll play a key role in maintaining product integrity and supporting warehouse operations, with additional responsibilities in first article inspections (FAI) and cross-departmental support. Responsible for inspecting plastic parts and components for defects, ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Support incoming inspection of molded and purchased parts; Ensure components meet engineering and quality standards through precise inspection and documentation; Maintain product integrity and support warehouse operations; Perform first article inspections (FAI) and cross-departmental support; Pull inspection samples based on predetermined frequency of inspection; Visually examine inspection samples for physical concerns as outlined in Standard Process Instructions; Document concerns within the Quality Advisement system and notify necessary parties; Aid in running containment for quality concerns as necessary; Utilize the Nonconformance system to place suspect parts on hold until reviewed

Requirements

High school diploma or one-month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience; Ability to carry out simple instructions and handle standardized situations with minimal variability; Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities, exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, give and welcome feedback; Effective communication skills with ability to collaborate well in group settings; Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; Individuals with temporary visas such as E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future are not eligible for hire; Must regularly stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; occasionally sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; must have close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
