Radiologic Technologist, OR, Baptist Downtown

Baptist Health is currently looking to add a Radiology Technologist to our Diagnostic Imaging Department at Baptist Downtown in Jacksonville, FL. This is a Full-Time Days opportunity working Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm. Weekend and call rotation required.

Responsibilities

Prepping rooms and positioning patients to capture clear diagnostic images; Collaborating closely with nurses and physicians; Operating advanced imaging equipment; Ensuring every patient receives safe, accurate, and compassionate care; Performing high-quality radiographic procedures; Promoting goodwill amongst co-workers and with other departments, with a positive, comforting demeanor with all patients; Reporting to the Lead Technologist on shift; Identifying, preparing, administering, and documenting medications as prescribed by a licensed practitioner, by state and federal regulations, or lawful institutional policy

Requirements

Vocational School; Basic Life Support (BLS) Required; Licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) - DOH Required or Registered Technologist in Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, ARRT (CI) Required or Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT – ARRT Required; Comfortable with Pediatrics; Compliant with mandatory education and health requirements

Nice to have

Customer Service Experience; Radiology/Imaging Experience; Experience working in a hospital setting; Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) - CCI – Cardiovascular
