Reach Truck Operator

This role will use powered equipment to safely, efficiently, and accurately transport products, materials, and supplies throughout the warehouse in support of production processes.

Responsibilities

Use powered equipment to safely, efficiently, and accurately transport products, materials, and supplies throughout the warehouse; Inventory organization and maintenance; Inventory tracking as products are received into, moved through, and shipped from the warehouse; Perform cycle counting of inventoried materials including counting, recording, re-counting, and data entry of count results; Inspect inventory for defects or damages and document in warehouse and inventory management systems; Fill and check customer orders, including handing off processed packages to carriers; Stage, process, package, and ship material and orders accurately, including receipt and delivery to internal clients; Enter data in warehouse management (SAP) programs; Interface with and assist management, including across departments, to ensure key objectives are realized; Unload incoming material from truck shipments and assist delivery carriers with unloading parcels; Inspect, review, verify, and record inbound material against delivery paperwork and document discrepancies; Continuous involvement and support with departmental process improvements; Abide by all company safety and hygiene regulations; Follow and maintain 7s Program and guidelines; Any additional tasks assigned to ensure an efficient, safe, clean, and goal-oriented work environment

Requirements

1 year of experience operating forklifts, including dock stockers and reach trucks; Unassisted lifting up to 50lbs; High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years of relevant work experience in warehousing or logistics; Experience operating a powered dock stocker and reach truck; Basic computer literacy; Knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system) pertaining to warehouse activities; RF experience

Nice to have

Experience with SAP; Warehouse management (SAP) data entry
