Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Centria is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join its team as Registered Behavior Technicians to make a difference in the lives of children with autism. The role involves one-on-one work with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a BCBA, and using evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors. The role is physically demanding and requires patience, compassion, and teamwork. Pay range: $18 - $25.

Responsibilities

Work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA); Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills; Reduce interfering behaviors

Requirements

Passionate about helping children with autism; Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team; 18+ years of age; High school diploma or GED; Ability to obtain a CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven't had one in the last year); Ability to pass a pre employment background check; Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.); Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds; Candidates must obtain a Registered Behavior Technician Certification after completing onboarding
