Responsibilities

Coordinate and develop multidisciplinary care plans to ensure appropriate length of stay and resource utilization.; Assess patient needs, provide education, and alleviate fears through effective communication and compassionate care.; Administer medications, manage therapeutic regimens, and monitor patient responses to interventions.; Collaborate with case managers and other healthcare professionals to prepare patients for discharge and continued care.; Document patient care activities and progress according to established guidelines.; Respond to changing patient situations, including emergencies, with appropriate interventions and notifications.

Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months of hire date.; Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire date.; Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.
