Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Observation

Join our Clinical Observation Unit at Magnet designated Condell Medical Center. Here, you’ll find a collaborative, supportive, and highly engaged team committed to delivering compassionate, safe, and exceptional care. This 28-bed unit delivers outpatient services to observation patients who require monitoring and/or treatment that extends beyond the emergency department regimens. Our team cares for patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses with an expected length of stay of less than 24 hours.

Responsibilities

Providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process; Delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and communication skills; Leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
