Registered Nurse (RN)- CV Stepdown

24-bed private CV Stepdown and telemetry unit specializing in caring for cardiothoracic/vascular surgical, pre-operative and post-operative progressive care patients. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 3-12 hour shifts per week, days 7a-7p. Teammates may be new to critical care or enrolled in the Critical Care Academy (CCA). The unit also serves as med/surg overflow.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; BLS for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association required/expected within 6 months of hire date
