Registered Nurse (RN) - Hugh Chatham Adult Acute Care - Weekends

Registered Nurse (RN) position in the Adult Acute Care Med Surg unit (2nd Floor) at Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, North Carolina. The 61-bed medical-surgical unit specializes in the care of orthopedic and stroke patients, serving a diverse population with post-operative recovery and acute medical management needs. Full-time position, 36 hours per week, benefits eligible, with weekend schedule 7a-7p. Pay range: $38.20 - $57.30.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process; Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and compassionate communication; Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association; At least 1 year of RN experience
