Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room

0.9 FTE position (36 hours per week) with a combination of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts, scheduled based on departmental staffing needs. Typical shift hours are 6:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 6:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Participation in the department's call rotation is required. The Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan County Surgical Services Department performs a high volume of total joint, ENT, spine, urology, and ophthalmology procedures, using technology including the da Vinci Surgical System, MAKO, VELYS, and Spine Navigation platforms.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures; Use evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum

Requirements

Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing; Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices; Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
