Rehabilitation Consultant

Acumen Health is Australia's exclusive provider of Occupational Rehabilitation services to the Australian Defence Force. As an ADF Rehabilitation Consultant, you will apply your clinical reasoning skills to support ADF personnel who have sustained a physical and/or psychological injury. Responsibilities

Taking a holistic care approach, work within a multidisciplinary team to support the journey from rehab to healing; Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise; Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee, medical specialists, treatment providers and allied health professionals; Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans; KPI's based on service delivery outcomes, not billable hours

Requirements

Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW); Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work; Australian Citizenship; Minimum of one year clinical work experience, registered in your chosen profession; Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal; Passion to help people rehabilitate
