Rehabilitation Consultant (OT, Physio, AEP)

We're seeking a Rehabilitation Consultant with a minimum of one year's experience in Occupational Rehabilitation to deliver effective workplace injury prevention and rehabilitation services. Responsibilities

Use specialist knowledge and skills to help people return to meaningful employment; Work as part of a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals, delivering services and advice to a variety of industries across the entire employee lifecycle; Evaluate the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers who have been involved in a work-related or non-work-related injury or illness; Support clients to identify future employment or training options; Perform assessments in your area of clinical expertise – including functional capacity evaluations, worksite, ergonomic or daily living assessments; Case management to plan, coordinate and monitor client progress toward their return-to-work goals; Engage with key stakeholders and develop strong relationships that drive successful partnerships

Requirements

Minimum one year's experience in Occupational Rehabilitation; Care and compassion for people; Focus on exceptional client care; Ability to adapt and work with a variety of clients across a range of tasks; Capacity to work independently or as part of a team; Enthusiasm for new opportunities and ongoing learning; Commitment to being part of a collaborative and supportive team; Professional registration with AHPRA or ESSA as an EP; Exposure to Occupational Rehabilitation; Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology or Physiotherapy; Current Working with Children Check; Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
