Rehabilitative Services Manager - Inpatient - FT - Days - MHW

Manages the daily operations of Rehabilitative Services to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

Manages the daily operations of Rehabilitative Services to ensure alignment with departmental and organizational objectives; Collaborates with developing specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan and vision of the organization; Coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments; May provide patient care when necessary; Monitors departmental budgets, regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations; Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies; Monitors and ensures compliance with department objectives; Collaborates with other unit leaders to meet system goals and objectives including patient safety and satisfaction; Assesses the quality of patient care delivered and provides appropriate remediation through coaching, counseling and action plans; Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management; Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, hiring, payroll, and student engagements.

Accredited Program (Required); BLS American Heart E-Card (BLS AHA ECARD) - American Heart Association; BLS American Heart RQI E-Card (BLS AHA-RQI ECARD) - American Heart Association; BLS Cert American Heart_non ecard (BLS AHA) - American Heart Association; BLS Certification Grace (BLS GRACE) - Employee Grace Period for Essential Credential (GRACE); BLS Cert Red Cross (BLS RC) - Red Cross; Occupational Therapy License (OT LICENSE) - State of Florida; Physical Therapist License (PT LICENSE) - State of Florida; Speech-Language Pathology License (SA LICENSE) - State of Florida; One (1) year supervisory experience; Florida state licensure as a Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist; Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Speech-Language Pathology or related program; Critical thinking skills; Decisive judgment; Ability to work with minimal supervision; Ability to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action; Accountability; Customer Service; Effective Communication; Leading Change Initiatives; Organization Skills; Patient and Family Centered Care; Problem Solving; Responding to Change; Standards of Behavior
