Relief Veterinarian

Animal Emergency Center of Yorktown Virginia is growing and is looking to add an emergency veterinarian to its four-DVM team. The privately owned clinic provides emergency and critical care for small animals and some exotic pets, offering laser therapy, hospitalization, bloodwork (Abaxis blood machine), and most emergency surgeries. The company is seeking compassionate, team-oriented, strong-communicating Relief Veterinarians experienced in Emergency Medicine for Wednesday and Thursday overnights (6PM-8AM or 4PM to Midnight) and Saturday and Sunday day shifts (8AM-6PM). Responsibilities

Cover Wednesday and Thursday overnight shifts (6PM-8AM or 4PM-Midnight); Cover Saturday and Sunday day shifts (8AM-6PM)

Requirements

Doctor of Veterinary degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university; Active veterinary state license; Experience in Emergency Medicine; Compassionate; Team player; Strong communicator
