Responsibilities

Completing maintenance and repairs for home and commercial projects; Making recommendations and managing expectations with customers about scope of work and costs; Creating life-long customers by delivering a great experience following the Mr. Handyman Way; Encouraging customers to complete satisfaction surveys; Meeting revenue targets by finding additional ways to be of service; Invoicing appropriately, sourcing materials, and collecting payment; Ensuring work is done correctly the first time to maintain recall percentage

Requirements

Live within the area; Have 8+ years’ experience as a paid handyman; Own your own tools; Be insurable for driving our vehicle; Complete a background and driving record check; Able to lift 50 pounds independently; Able to safely work at heights and work overhead for extended periods of time; Professional appearance and maintenance of company-provided vehicle; Must have 10+ years of demonstratable experience; Strong proficiency in at least three of the following: carpentry work, bathroom improvements, kitchen improvements, painting inside and out, drywall work, general plumbing and electrical where allowed by law, floor installation and refurbishing; Self-manage as you’ll be alone often; Provide excellent customer service while asking for reviews and collecting payments; Have necessary tools including ability to use technology; Document the job following the Mr. Handyman Way; Wear proper PPE and booties to protect customer’s home
