Respiratory Therapist-South Carolina (Contract)

We’re hiring Respiratory Therapists and Certified Pulmonary Function Testing Technicians to perform simple spirometry testing (pre/post albuterol) at primary care clinics in Columbia, Myrtle Beach, and Upstate/Greenville areas of South Carolina. This role is ideal for RTs who value flexible, daytime-only work, clinical autonomy and independence, and strong relationships with patients and clinic teams.

Responsibilities

Perform pre/post simple spirometry testing with a handheld device; Prepare and coach patients through testing to ensure comfort and accuracy; Accurately grade each effort and upload results remotely for physician review; Monitor patient safety during procedures; Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety protocols; Represent Crosswalk Health professionally at each clinic site

Requirements

Experience performing bedside or complete PFTs; Understanding possible side effects of albuterol administration; Proficiency in respiratory therapy practices, procedures, and terminology; Comfortable working independently and traveling locally within a 45-minute radius; Available two to five days per week; Dependable and reliable; Flexible and adaptable; Personable and professional; Team player; Passionate about respiratory care
