Restaurant Bartender

Americana House, Lodi's most anticipated new restaurant from Michelin-starred Chef Charlie Palmer, is redefining the local dining scene with a bold, elevated experience. Featuring a newly designed bar with curated wines, handcrafted cocktails, seasonal dishes, live music, and more, Americana House offers a vibrant atmosphere where exceptional food and hospitality come together. The team is currently seeking experienced mixologists. As a Restaurant Bartender, you will play a key role in delivering an outstanding guest experience. This is a part-time position requiring flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Prepare drink orders for guests in a timely manner according to specified recipes using measuring systems; Take food and drink orders from bar patrons; Collect accurate payment from guests for drinks and food served; Count bank at beginning and end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies and secure bank; Maintain in-depth menu knowledge of alcoholic beverages, wines and restaurant menus, including ingredients, dish preparation and specials; Suggest appetizers, entrees, desserts and beverages; Carry out all server functions; Perform other duties as required, including opening and closing side work and restocking; Secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets and storage areas of the bar; Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of the bar, bar unit, tables and other tools; Maintain organization of the liquor bin and other bar storage areas; Take part in inventory of items necessary for daily bar service and monthly inventories; Deliver an outstanding guest experience

Requirements

Must be of legal drinking age; At least 2 years of Bartending experience; Effective at working multiple priorities, working under stress, time management and exercise good judgment with guest and employee situations and challenges; Must have flexibility in performing different job roles within the restaurant; Knowledgeable in the use of POS system and accuracy of order entries; Constant standing and repetitive use of hands, arms, and legs; Frequent walking, carrying of bottles, trays with drinks and plates of food, bending, grasping, pushing, pulling, twisting, reaching; Occasional carrying of cases of wine and beverage items, stooping to ground level; Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; Ability to walk and stand for up to 4 hours, work in a fast-paced environment, and walk over uneven ground and up and down stairs; See and read POS and printed material; Hear and understand speech at normal levels
