Restaurant Manager

You will have an important role in the delivery of outstanding service and memorable experiences for each guest.

Responsibilities

Management of assigned restaurants, lounges, and room service; Participates in development and implementation of strategies for assigned Food & Beverage outlets that support achievement of hotel’s goals; Develops and implements strategies to achieve revenue and profit goals; Monitors status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate; Assists in development of marketing plan for outlet by keeping current on competitors; Assists in developing and implementing special promotions and employee incentives; Provides employees with current up-to-date information on menu offerings; Increases sales by coaching employees on effective sales techniques; Coordinates set-up of restaurants, room service and lounge areas in accordance with DoubleTree standards; Confirms daily specials and new menu additions with Chef and Sous Chef; Manages food and beverage service in assigned outlets; coaches employees on effective service and food presentation techniques; Inspects restaurants and lounge areas and ensures facilities meet hotel’s standards; Conducts daily pre-shift meetings to discuss specials, house count, reservations and new menu items; Assists in monthly and quarterly inventories; Maximizes productivity by using forecasting techniques to adjust scheduling; Provides employees with orientation and training needed to understand expectations and perform job responsibilities; Orients employees to department and hotel and provides on-the-job training; Prioritizes and assigns work; Provides employees with coaching and counseling as needed to achieve performance objectives and reach their fullest potential; Provides employees with tools, training and environment they need to deliver exceptional service and teamwork; Recruits and selects qualified candidates; Communicates performance expectations and provides employees with on-going feedback; Conducts departmental staff meetings not less than monthly

Requirements

Previous full-service restaurant management experience required.
