Retail Engagement Specialist

Join 2020 Companies as a Retail Engagement Specialist and play a key role in building retail partner relationships, increasing program visibility, and supporting business growth across your territory. This is a field-based role where you will visit local retailers and ensure they understand how to maximize the value of the program. You will serve as the face of the brand in the field building relationships, providing education, and ensuring a strong customer experience at each location.

Responsibilities

Visit retail locations within assigned territory and engage with merchants; Introduce and educate new merchants on client’s financial services and program benefits; Provide on-site support, answer questions, and address concerns; Place and maintain point-of-sale materials and branding; Document visits and track activity using mobile tools and reporting systems; Work with leadership to ensure territory goals and coverage expectations are met; Partner with the client to train and advocate client products at the retailer; Drive merchant awareness within assigned territory; Maintain professional interaction with merchants and fellow employees; Attempt to place point of purchase signage on exterior and/or interior of business; Advise merchants by providing information on products; Audit and record competitive products, promotions, merchandising, displays and merchant feedback; Travel to major markets and events for iconic launches; Contribute to team effort by assisting in launch-related activities; Track and communicate all activity to Retail Operations; Ensure feedback reporting is submitted in timely manner

Requirements

Personal vehicle; Valid driver's license; Proof of insurance; Successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening; High school diploma or equivalent experience; Six (6) months prior sales, promotion, retail, or marketing experience; Demonstrated knowledge of products and services; Excellent communications, presentation, interpersonal and problem-solving skills; Impeccable integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction; Ability to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. at a time; Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team environment; Ability to maintain customer confidentiality; Reliable transportation within assigned territory; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Comfortable working independently in a field-based environment; Organized, reliable, and able to manage a daily route; Adaptable, professional, and customer-focused
