Retail Sales Clerk

Retail sales clerks will accept payment for merchandise, operate a computerized inventory and provide advice about merchandise to customers, among other duties.

Responsibilities

Accept cash, cheque, credit card or automatic debit payment; Operate cash register; Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems; Provide advice about merchandise; Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services; Provide customer service; Assist in display of merchandise; Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce; Maintain sales records for inventory control

Requirements

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate; Will train; English
