RF Engineer

We have an exciting remote opportunity for an Interim or Full Secret Cleared RF Engineer in Andover, MA.

Responsibilities

Support the development and production of complex multi-function modules used in challenging high-reliability applications in all phases of the product life cycle; Design and develop circuits, modules, and sub-systems from initial concept through prototyping and full-rate production; Work on complex technical problems and provide solutions which are innovative and ingenious; Work independently to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of operational products; Mentor less experienced engineers; Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, including hardware engineers, system engineers, and circuit design engineers as well as technician and manufacturing support personnel

Requirements

Interim or Active Secret Clearance; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 8+ years of professional experience; or 6+ years of professional experience with a related Master's degree; Extensive experience with RF design at the Circuit Card Assembly (CCA), subsystem, or module level; Experience with Schematic Capture, RF Block Diagrams Reviews, and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCA); Extensive experience with troubleshooting design and resolving integration issues; Experience with the use of microwave test equipment and microwave simulation tools such as network analyzers and spectrum analyzers; Experience with tools such as ADS, CST Microwave Studio, and HFSS

Nice to have

A Masters Degree in electrical engineering or closely related technical field; Active Secret Clearance; Significant relevant experience in the defense electronics industry; Expertise with RF subsystem and hardware including antennas, transmitters, receivers, microwave components, low noise amplifiers, high power amplifiers, advanced electronic modules, amplifiers, mixers, switches, frequency generation circuits and/or frequency conversion circuits; Experience with 3D electromagnetic simulation tools; Experience with microelectronics assembly techniques; Expertise with technical documentation such as specification, schematic diagram and test data; Experience leading successful technical projects
