Responsibilities

Conduct thorough underwriting risk assessments across various sectors including domestic, bespoke, and commercial; Provide valuable technical insights to Underwriting teams through meticulous site visits and remote surveys; Produce detailed technical reports that capture the nuances of underwriting risk assessments to a professional standard; Ensure insurance decisions, whether quotes, renewals, or rejections, are reached promptly using defined systems and frameworks

Requirements

Experienced Loss Control Surveyor; detailed knowledge of current risk management and loss prevention practices for a broad range of insurance risks; significant experience of surveying and consulting in large and complex commercial environments; ability to interpret underwriting requirements and effectively communicate with stakeholders; proven experience in surveying and consulting within commercial settings; high attention to detail; ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively
