Risk Manager - CPS

A leading insurer is looking to hire a Risk Manager to support its growing Pension Risk Transfer business. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong BPA expertise who is looking to broaden their impact beyond transaction delivery and into risk, governance and strategic decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity for a BPA specialist looking to move into a broader risk-focused role while remaining close to the commercial and operational heart of the Pension Risk Transfer market.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders across the Pension Risk Transfer business; Provide risk oversight and challenge across BPA transactions and processes; Support the assessment and management of operational and business risks; Lead risk reviews, governance activities and change risk assessments; Monitor risk indicators and provide insights to senior stakeholders; Help shape and strengthen the overall risk and control environment

Requirements

Strong experience within the Bulk Purchase Annuity market; Deep understanding of BPA transactions, processes and commercial drivers; Experience operating within a regulated financial services environment; Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills; Analytical, proactive and solutions-focused mindset
