Sales Development Representative, Consumer Goods Start-Up

Our start-up consumer goods client is looking for a Sales Development Representative to build their business. Its L.A. division is growing quickly as they expand their market share and become a major player in a relatively untapped niche. This is a great opportunity to join an entrepreneurial team and grow a new division.

Responsibilities

Prospect and close new customers; Explain the advantages of our client’s apparel products; Plan and give presentations to prospective customers; Develop new processes for managing the sales pipeline; Transition customers to the Account Management team once they are ready to buy

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree; 2+ years of experience in sales with an excellent record of achievement; Inside sales experience a strong plus; Clear achievement pattern (promotions, awards, accomplishments, etc.); Entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to wear many hats
