Responsibilities

Managing all salon operations and providing leadership and tools for success; helping staff increase clientele and business; focusing on salon profitability and teaching stylists the ins and outs of business; providing all hair care services offered by Hair Masters and ensuring highest quality for each guest; acting as coach and mentor to bring out the best in salon employees and ensure a positive work environment; hiring, recruiting, training, and handling conflicts and client complaints with professionalism

Requirements

Lead by example; customer service at core; resolve challenges with professionalism; ability to bring out the best in others by training, developing team, creating positive work environment, providing guidance on business and technical competency matters, and keeping salon's bottom line in mind; current cosmetology or barber license as required by state/provincial regulations; ability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends; tech savvy and able to perform administrative tasks; ability to close out system at end of day; ability to read, write, and do basic math; ability to travel to mandatory meetings and training sessions, including overnight travel; good eyesight including close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus; comfortable with standing, lifting, bending, and performing repetitive movements; ability to occasionally lift 10-25 lbs; comfortable with fragrances and chemicals
