SAP S/4HANA Integration & Partner Systems Manager

Partner-system integration and dependency management role within METRO Global Solution Center (GSC) India, supporting the LUCA programme. The role coordinates SAP and non-SAP partner systems, integration design, testing, cutover, readiness and governance across rollout waves.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain an end-to-end view of dependencies between LUCA and relevant SAP and non-SAP partner systems; Identify interdependencies early, clarify owners and required decisions, and translate them into milestones, deliverables, assumptions, risks and actions; Coordinate dependency planning across LUCA workstreams and partner-system roadmaps; Act as the central coordination point for partner-system integration topics; Assess how changes in LUCA affect upstream and downstream partner systems, business controls and operational activities; Facilitate alignment between functional requirements and technical integration design; Coordinate design and implementation of integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA and SAP or non-SAP systems; Challenge incomplete or inconsistent requirements; Ensure integration decisions and acceptance criteria are documented and aligned with the LUCA template and rollout approach; Coordinate partner-system participation in integration, end-to-end, regression testing and defect resolution; Ensure cross-system defects are analysed and resolved; Plan and coordinate partner-system activities within rehearsal and cutover plans; Assess partner-system readiness and report status, risks and decisions to LUCA governance forums; Support hypercare and stabilisation; Build working relationships with LUCA teams, business users, partner-system owners, IT providers and implementation partners; Prepare and facilitate integration and dependency forums; Maintain integration documentation, dependency logs, decision records and status reporting; Contribute to continuous improvement of LUCA integration governance and reusable methods

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, Finance or a related discipline; At least 8 years of experience in multinational SAP transformation or ERP implementation environments, including participation in at least one full implementation cycle; Strong experience coordinating integrations and interdependencies across SAP and non-SAP systems in complex programme landscapes; Balanced functional and technical understanding, including interfaces, data flows, integration architecture, middleware, environments and testing; Good knowledge of SAP Finance processes and modules, particularly subledger processes and their integration points; Experience in cross-system testing, cutover planning, release coordination, defect management and operational readiness; Proven ability to coordinate internal IT teams, business stakeholders and implementation partners without relying solely on direct authority; Experience with integration and delivery documentation, dependency tracking, risk and issue management, and structured status reporting; Systems-thinking mindset; Strong analytical and problem-solving capability; Clear, articulate and confident communication with functional and technical stakeholders; Collaborative and diplomatic approach with the persistence to challenge constructively and escalate when necessary; High level of ownership, reliability and attention to detail; Excellent written and spoken English and experience in a European and multinational business environment
