Sector Specialist - Healthcare, Directed Content

As a Sector Specialist on the Directed Content team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of proprietary research content within the Healthcare sector. Reporting to the Director of Research, Healthcare, you will support the Directed Content operation by leading strategic projects and process initiatives, combining deep sector expertise with strong project management skills to improve operational performance, shape content strategy, and partner with key stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

Partner with Directed Content stakeholders to lead projects and process initiatives aimed at improving operational performance; use healthcare sector expertise to partner with Engineering and Product teams to provide input and perform QA on new AlphaSense products and features; perform QA reviews of expert transcripts, particularly those conducted with the AI interviewer and third-party vendors; in partnership with the Content Innovation and Strategy team, identify and develop directed content streams for the AI-led interviewer; highlight the best healthcare ETL content for promotional activities and support other content initiatives; gather, synthesize, and distribute customer feedback on healthcare ETL coverage to drive process and content improvements; establish and maintain feedback loops with project teams to enhance future content; partner with Operations and Product teams to pilot and optimize AI-enabled tools that improve project throughput and QA precision

Requirements

5–7 years of experience in equity research at a sell-side bank, investment firm, hedge fund, research provider, or expert network (or comparable healthcare industry experience, such as biopharma or medtech strategy, competitive intelligence, business development, or healthcare consulting); deep domain expertise in Healthcare, with a strong grasp of key players, business models, and industry trends; proven ability to lead projects, manage deadlines, and hit business targets; original and independent thought with strong analytical, organizational, and critical-thinking skills; excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to work cross-functionally and within an organization where information-sharing is critical; intellectual curiosity, client orientation, and comfort in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
