At MEL Environmental Solutions Ltd, we specialise in restoring properties after pollution incidents and providing pollution response services to the Insurance Industry. We are currently seeking a Semi-Skilled Groundworker/Labourer to join our team in Yeovil . This role involves working on residential oil spill projects, ensuring environmental restoration and safety.

Responsibilities

Carry out site works following safety protocols, including the Construction Phase Plan and Health & Safety Policy.; Assist Senior Technician/General Builder with various tasks.; Support ISO9001 Quality Management System and ISO45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System processes.; Perform additional tasks as advised by Top Management.

Requirements

Experience in a multi-skilled construction role, including hand digging, groundwork, laying drainage, concreting, etc.; Ability to operate a mini digger/dumper (preferred but not essential).; CSCS certification (essential).; Full UK driving licence (essential).; Willingness to travel and work away from home during the week if required.; Must have the right to work in the UK.; Successful candidates will be subject to a DBS check and pre-employment Drugs and Alcohol Screening.
