SEND & Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant

We’re recruiting for a resilient, compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils who need additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral support within a mainstream primary school. Working alongside experienced teachers and the SEND team, you’ll help children overcome barriers to learning and build the confidence they need to succeed.

Responsibilities

Support pupils who need additional behavioural, emotional and pastoral support; Emotional regulation; Positive behaviour strategies; Classroom engagement; One-to-one mentoring; Social and emotional development

Requirements

Experience within schools; Calm under pressure; Positive role model; Strong relationship builder; Patient and encouraging; Enhanced DBS check; References
