Senior Accountant

Our client is a global investment manager with over $47 billion in AUM investing in credit, real estate, and private equity investment strategies. The Senior Accountant will be part of a team that handles all aspects of the accounting for a specific line of business at the firm.

Responsibilities

Prepare monthly and quarterly operating company financials; Prepare management reporting package for each quarter 10-Q or annual 10-K; Record monthly G/L journal entries; Improve processes and reporting packages and develop controls; Work collaboratively with FP&A to provide operating details, management reporting and forecast; Work directly with the auditors to support quarterly and annual financial statement and preparer subsidiary stand-alone

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting; 2-4 years of accounting experience with a background in public accounting; Proficient in Excel
