Senior Accountant, Professional Services

Our professional services client is looking for a Senior Accountant to support the firm Controller. The firm has grown to over 50 employees, and they need someone who can thrive in a rapid-growth environment with few processes in place. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Accountant to help build out the accounting department in a growing company and make an impact by setting up new processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

Enter day-to-day G/L entries; Assist with the month-end close process and reporting; Work with the Controller to develop new accounting processes; Perform variance analyses on financial results; Ensure adequate internal controls within the firm; Liaise with the outside CPA firm

Requirements

Four-year degree in Accounting; 4+ years of accounting experience; Quickbooks knowledge REQUIRED; Professional services experience strongly preferred; Ability to succeed in an environment with few processes in place; Ability to multi-task
