Senior Actuarial Expert - Belgian Market

Alan is building the new standard in prevention insurance. The role of an Insurance Expert at Alan is to design and price insurance offers, monitor the business and the risks, and help the rest of the team understand the subtleties of healthcare and insurance.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in the insurance sector, with meaningful exposure to health insurance products (hospitalisation, group insurance, disability or dental); Fluent in English and French/Dutch; Scientific background (actuarial sciences, statistics, mathematics or data science) with practical experience in insurance (product, pricing, regulatory or analytics); Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data, business and legal questions into actionable outputs; Builder mindset: continuously identify opportunities to improve and scale processes and systems; Willing to deeply change the insurance and healthcare industry and challenge the status quo; Communicates in a clear, structured and to-the-point way (written and spoken)
