Senior Buyer

We’re seeking an ambitious Senior Buyer to join a leading high-tech manufacturer in Bristol, with global reach. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a globally respected business, managing key supplier relationships, driving purchasing performance and ensuring critical materials and components are delivered to support the development of industry-leading products.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition through to purchase order placement; Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; Negotiate with suppliers and coordinate orders in line with operational requirements; Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies and supplier-related issues; Manage return-to-vendor activities and supplier non-conformance processes

Requirements

Previous experience within an Engineering or Production Environment; Track record as a Buyer; CIPS level 4 qualified or similar Purchasing Qualification; HNC/HND in Engineering or Manufacturing Discipline; Good ability with managing conflicting priorities
