Senior C++ Engineer

We are looking for a Senior C++ Engineer to support the development and modernization of complex desktop applications. The role focuses on building high-performance C++ solutions, optimizing existing applications, and gradually modernizing a large legacy software landscape.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain high-performance C++ components for desktop applications.; Analyze and optimize application performance, stability, and scalability.; Design and implement multithreading and concurrency solutions.; Support the modernization of legacy components (MFC, ATL, Win32, Delphi) to modern C++ and .NET technologies.; Collaborate closely with Architecture, QA, and Product Management teams while leveraging AI coding tools to accelerate refactoring and code analysis.

Requirements

Extensive experience with modern C++ (C++14/17/20), including multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.; Strong expertise in Qt, CMake, Conan, MSVC, and the integration of CEF.; Proven experience modernizing and maintaining complex legacy desktop applications.; Strong analytical mindset with a structured approach and high quality standards.; Fluent English

Nice to have

Experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Claude Code) and regulated environments is considered an advantage.; German (Nice-to-have)
